American Axle & Manufacturing to Acquire Dowlais Group plc in a $1.44 Billion Deal

American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) is set to acquire the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Dowlais Group plc (Dowlais) for approximately $1.44 billion in cash and AAM shares. The combination will create a leading driveline and metal-forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with expected annual revenues of approximately $12 billion and $300 million in annual run rate cost synergies.
