Civista Bancshares to Acquire The Farmers Savings Bank, Launches Public Offering of Common Shares

Civista Bancshares, Inc., based in Sandusky, Ohio, is set to acquire The Farmers Savings Bank, resulting in a combined company with total assets of approximately $4.4 billion. Civista has also launched an underwritten public offering of its common shares, aiming to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes and future strategic transactions.
