1Mind Raises $30 Million for AI Sales Agent Mindy

Amanda Kahlow's startup 1Mind has secured a $30 million Series A round led by Battery Ventures for its AI sales agent, Mindy. Kahlow, the co-founder of 1Mind and former CEO of 6Sense, aims to revolutionize the sales industry with Mindy, which is designed to handle inbound sales and even replace the sales engineer on calls for larger enterprise deals.
Despite the crowded market, 1Mind is carving its niche by focusing on providing a human-like experience for potential customers. The AI agent, trained to understand a wide knowledge base, is already being utilized by more than 30 companies. Beyond its sales capabilities, 1Mind has also created an AI avatar of Kahlow, named Amanda, which was used during VC pitches. The company envisions the potential for AI sales agents to eventually replace higher-end account executive sales roles, although this shift may take time due to trust issues with agentic tech.
The $30 million round saw participation from Primary Ventures, Wing Venture Capital, Operator Collective, Harmonic Growth Partners, and others. 1Mind maintains a workforce of 44 humans and is looking to fill 71 job openings, including roles for account execs.
