AI Note-taking Startup Siro Raises $50M Series B to Support Sales Reps

Siro, an AI note-taking startup, recently secured $50 million in a Series B round led by SignalFire, with participation from Dick Costolo and Adam Bain’s VC firm 01 Advisors, Square CPO Saumil Mehta, Squire's founders Songe LaRon and Dave Salvant, Michael Stoppelman, and Ding Zhou.
The company, which aims to provide AI note-taking for salespeople conducting face-to-face meetings, has raised a total of $75 million to date. The idea for Siro stemmed from founder Jake Cronin's experience in college, where he realized the need for software to assist sales reps on the ground. Siro's app transcribes sales meetings, offering features such as a company-wide dashboard for sharing successful calls and insights, and training models for specific industry verticals.
Wayne Hu of SignalFire emphasized the value of Siro's data advantage in offline conversations, highlighting its potential for various industry segments. Siro's innovative solution aims to digitize and optimize field sales engagements, offering extensive opportunities for customer and product insights.
