Anduril Raises $1.5 Billion for Defense Tech and Manufacturing Platform

Anduril Industries announced it has secured $1.5 billion in Series F funding, bringing its valuation to $14 billion. The funding, co-led by Founders Fund and Sands Capital, will be used to scale defense manufacturing through its new Arsenal platform, designed to meet the urgent needs of the U.S. and its allies.
Arsenal aims to mass-produce tens of thousands of autonomous weapons systems by leveraging a software-defined manufacturing approach that integrates commercial supply chains, simplifies designs, and ensures resilient production processes. Central to this effort is Arsenal-1, a new 5+ million square foot manufacturing facility that will employ thousands and produce a large volume of military systems annually. This facility will enable rapid scaling and adaptation to changing defense demands, addressing the vulnerabilities exposed by the conflict in Ukraine, where the U.S. would quickly deplete its weapons supply.
Anduril is taking on the risk by self-funding the development of Arsenal, emphasizing its commitment to transforming defense production through agile and scalable manufacturing processes. This initiative builds on Anduril’s existing global manufacturing capabilities, including recent expansions in rocket motor production and autonomous underwater vehicle manufacturing.
