Austin FC Dream Starter Competition Winner Announced

29Eleven The Salon emerged as the victor of the 2024 Austin FC Dream Starter Competition, securing $100,000 in funding from Q2 Holdings, Inc. The salon, specializing in serving the unique needs of curly and highly textured hair, aims to address the historical lack of training for such hair types in cosmetology schools. 

The initiative, designed to aid underrepresented entrepreneurs in building successful companies, will provide crucial financial support to 29Eleven The Salon. The other 2024 Dream Starter finalists included Amiguitos Spanish Immersion Academy, The Breastfeeding Success Company, Celzo Agua Fresca, and West China Tea. The finalists presented their pitches at Q2 Stadium, with 29Eleven

The Salon set to be honored during the Austin FC vs. Portland Timbers match. The competition's previous winners include SocialNote, CDL Changing Lanes Driving School, and At Ease Rentals Corporation.
