Cambium Secures $100 Million Series B Funding to Accelerate Advanced Materials Production

Cambium, a leader in advanced materials for defense and aerospace, has announced a successful $100 million Series B financing round led by 8VC, with funding from MVP Ventures, Lockheed Martin Ventures, GSBackers, Veteran Ventures Capital, J17 Ventures, and others. This capital injection will propel Cambium's product pipeline and materials manufacturing in the U.S. and Europe, benefiting sectors like aerospace, defense, energy, marine, and motorsport.
The company's innovative approach integrates AI, chemical informatics, and high-performance computing to expedite the design and scaling of new monomers and polymers. Additionally, following its acquisition of SHD, Cambium now possesses one of the largest aerospace and industrial qualified prepreg, film, and adhesives material production capacities globally.
