Checker Raises $8M to Expand its Global Financial Network and Achieves $3B in Total Processing Volume

Checker, a global financial network, has raised $8M in funding to expand its services. The platform has experienced significant growth, with its initial product scaling from $0 to $3B in total processing volume (TPV) within the last 12 months. Institutional clients including Rail, Braza Bank, and more have contributed to this substantial growth. The funding was secured from investors such as Galaxy Ventures, Al Mada Ventures, and Framework Ventures, along with participation from strategic financial institutions like Bitso, Airtm, DFS Lab, Onigiri Capital, SNZ Capital, and Velocity.
Additionally, fintech operators from companies such as Stripe, Tala, Flutterwave, Mesh, ComplyAdvantage, and Superstate have also invested in Checker. The platform aims to address the challenges of liquidity fragmentation, operational complexity, and compliance hurdles faced by institutions looking to access stablecoin and tokenization markets. By providing a single API, Checker enables financial institutions to launch and scale products spanning trading, payments, treasury, and credit across global markets. The network offers access to global liquidity, fiat on- and off-ramps, and payment rails, reducing the need to integrate multiple providers.
Checker has already onboarded institutional clients, including Rail, Braza Bank, and Belo, as it scaled to $3B in total processing volume. The network's stablecoin processing volume spans 30 regulated financial institutions across the US, Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, covering 75 global currencies. With this funding, Checker plans to enhance its global payments coverage, build out embedded borrowing and lending capabilities, and launch AI-powered agents for treasury management, back-office operations, and predictive analytics.
The platform's mission is to enable financial institutions worldwide to transform foreign exchange, payments, trading, and investment products. Checker has received backing from leading investors and financial institutions, positioning it to continue its expansion and impact on the global financial infrastructure.
