Dutch Food-Tech Startup Revyve Raises €24 Million in Series B Financing to Accelerate Production of Functional Yeast Proteins

Dutch food-tech scale-up Revyve has secured almost €24 million in Series B financing, bringing its total capital raised to over €40 million. The investment, co-led by ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund and Invest-NL, with regional support from Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM) and strategic investments by Lallemand Bio-Ingredients' Swiss affiliate Danstar Ferment and Grey Silo Ventures, aims to expedite the company's commercial rollout of functional yeast proteins designed to replace eggs and additives in mainstream food categories.
Revyve's natural and sustainable ingredients are poised to address industry challenges such as increasing egg prices and sustainability targets, offering affordable and clean label solutions for egg replacement or reduction. The funding will enable Revyve to scale production, expand output to over 1,600 tons per year, and cater to global customers worldwide.
The diverse investor base, comprising institutional, public, and strategic expertise, reflects strong confidence in Revyve's mission of reshaping the alternative protein space. The company plans to present its latest applications and partnerships at Anuga and Food ingredients Europe, demonstrating its commitment to creating a more sustainable food system through innovative texture-enhancing solutions.
