Henry AI Secures $16.5 Million Series A Funding Led by FirstMark Capital

Henry AI, an AI platform automating back-office knowledge work for commercial real estate teams, has announced a $16.5 million Series A funding round led by FirstMark Capital. Thomson Reuters Ventures and Y Combinator also participated in the round. The investment includes follow-on funding from Y Combinator, Susa Ventures, 1Sharpe, StoryHouse Ventures, Pioneer Fund, RXR Arden Digital Ventures, Karman Ventures, and Coalition Operators. The funding will be utilized to expand the engineering and product teams and develop Henry's document engine into the system of record for commercial real estate deals.
The company has gained traction in the industry, with teams from major commercial real estate brokerages utilizing the platform. Henry's automation of document processes has resulted in significant efficiency improvements, reducing analyst production time by 90% and streamlining various tasks such as underwriting, pitch decks, and buyer lists. The platform has generated more than 20,000 client-ready deliverables, representing over $150 billion in underlying deal value.
Notably, over 20% of Henry's customers have reduced staffing requirements as a direct result of using the platform. The launch of Henry Deal aims to transform a firm's transaction data into deliverables across the entire deal lifecycle, further enhancing the platform's value proposition. Adam Nelson, Partner at FirstMark Capital, has joined Henry's board of directors following the funding round. With the backing of major investors and its focus on enhancing operational efficiency within the commercial real estate sector, Henry AI is poised to solidify its position as a key player in the industry.
