Hightouch secures $80M in Series C funding led by Sapphire Ventures

Hightouch, a startup co-founded by a former engineering manager at Segment, has raised $80 million in Series C funding. This funding round was led by Sapphire Ventures and saw participation from NVC, Amplify Ventures, ICONIQ Growth, Bain Capital Ventures, and Y Combinator. The investment has propelled Hightouch to a post-money valuation of $1.2 billion.
The startup plans to utilize the funding to further develop its technology, expand its business, and hire more talent. Hightouch's co-CEO Tejas Manohar highlighted the company's focus on simplifying the process of using data from data warehouses for marketing, sales, and customer service.
The startup offers a customer data platform (CDP) product and an AI Decisioning product, catering to both technical and non-technical users. The AI Decisioning product utilizes machine learning and automation to optimize campaigns. Hightouch's client base includes prominent companies such as Spotify, PetSmart, Tripadvisor, and Grammarly.
The startup's previous funding rounds include a seed round in 2020, a $40 million round led by ICONIQ Growth, and a $38 million round in 2023.
