Israeli startup Port has recently secured a $100 million Series C funding round led by General Atlantic, with participation from Accel, Bessemer Venture Partners and Team8. This round, which values Port at $800 million, brings the company's total funding to $158 million. Port's proprietary Backstage competitor is a dev tool portal that has been tailored to manage AI agents.

The company's product serves as more than just a catalog of dev and agent tools, offering a layer of orchestration with features that measure agent performance and add a human-in-the-loop to approval processes. Port aims to address the challenges of managing devtool agents at companies, including finding, sharing, and ensuring their work follows company standards.

With the new funding, big-name customers such as GitHub, British Telecom, and LG, and the support of tier-one VCs, Port is set to make waves in the agentic management and orchestration space, despite facing significant competition from other players such as LangChain, UiPath, Cortex, and more.
