Kneu Health Secures $5.6M Seed Round for Precision Neurology Platform

Kneu Health, a precision neurology platform focusing on Parkinson's and dementia, has successfully closed an oversubscribed seed round, raising $5.6 million. The round was co-led by Oxford Science Enterprises and Cedars-Sinai, with the participation of Social Impact Enterprises, JIMCO, G.K. Goh Ventures, and SXSW London. The funding will be used to accelerate U.S. expansion, scale Parkinson's deployments, expand commercial capacity, publish outcomes data, and advance dementia monitoring.
This brings Kneu's total funding to $11.2 million. The company's technology, based on more than a decade of research, incorporates over 500,000 digital measures from 1,400+ users across NHS and U.S. deployments. Clinically trained AI models analyze speech, movement, and cognition to generate predictive biomarkers, aiding in risk stratification and targeted interventions. FDA clearance for smartphone-based Parkinson's tremor measurement affirms the platform's clinical rigor and enables proactive monitoring to be integrated into daily life and care pathways.
Kneu's approach has shown positive results, with clinicians reporting improved patient care and patients experiencing up to a 30% improvement in knowledge, confidence, and self-management. The company has also established a presence in influential medical ecosystems in the U.S., with first contracts underway at Cedars-Sinai and Mass General Brigham, and participation in the Global Incubator Programme at Texas Medical Center Innovation. Kneu Health is focused on transforming daily interactions into clinical insights for earlier intervention and personalized care.
