SafelyYou Secures $43 Million Series C Funding to Revolutionize Senior Care with AI Solutions

SafelyYou, a company dedicated to enhancing person-centered care in senior living through advanced AI, has successfully completed a Series C financing round, raising $43 million. The round was led by Touring Capital, a growth stage firm with a focus on AI-powered SaaS startups. Other participants in the funding round included Foundation Capital, Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc., Founders Fund, Cross Creek, Samsung Next, and Qualcomm Ventures. This funding brings SafelyYou's total raised capital to over $100 million.
Founded in 2016 by George Netscher, SafelyYou's primary product, SafelyYou Respond™, was developed to address falls in memory care, a significant issue for individuals with cognitive decline. The company's solution has proven to reduce falls by 40% and fall-related ER visits by 80%, leading to improved outcomes for residents and reduced costs for families and communities.
Moreover, the funding will support the expansion of SafelyYou's product suite, including SafelyYou Clarity™ and SafelyYou Aware™, which offer innovative solutions for accurate care measurement and insight into resident wellness.
SafelyYou's AI technology is set to transform senior living care by predicting residents' care needs with unparalleled speed and accuracy, revolutionizing how care is provided in the industry.
The funding comes following SafelyYou's recent successes, including collaborations with leading senior living providers and the release of a significant three-year study demonstrating the positive impact of SafelyYou Respond™.
SafelyYou, which originated from CEO George Netscher's doctoral research at UC Berkeley's Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, is on a mission to tackle critical challenges in senior living and has been recognized as one of the most innovative fall technologies.
