Standard Metrics Raises $20M in Series B Funding Led by 8VC

Standard Metrics, an AI-driven portfolio management platform for venture capital and private equity, has announced a successful $20M Series B funding round led by 8VC. The round also saw participation from key investors such as Salesforce Ventures, Spark Capital, January Capital, First Trust Capital Partners, Socii Capital, Kindergarten Ventures, Calm Ventures, and Gaingels.

Since its launch in 2020, Standard Metrics has aimed to revolutionize investor relations in private markets. Initially focused on automating collaboration between investors and portfolio companies, it has evolved into a comprehensive source of truth for portfolio performance and investment data. The platform's AI-driven tools aid in streamlining portfolio reviews, valuations, LP reporting, and diligence for VC/PE firms. Standard Metrics has experienced significant growth, currently supporting over 10,000 portfolio companies and 150 firms with a collective $400 billion in assets.

The company also serves 30% of Forbes Midas List. With this funding, Standard Metrics plans to enhance its AI capabilities, expand its team, and reach more private market investors and portfolio companies.
