Superpanel Raises $5.3M to Revolutionize Legal Intake with AI Automation

Julien Emery, the CEO and co-founder of Superpanel, a platform facilitating the onboarding of new clients for law firms, has always had a personal stake in the legal industry. His struggles with accessing legal help in Canada and his family's experience with a car accident shaped his mission to streamline the tedious legal intake process.

Superpanel, launched in 2024, leverages artificial intelligence to automate half of the legal intake workload, providing digital assistance for plaintiff law firms. The company recently secured a $5.3 million seed funding round co-led by Outlander VC and Field Ventures, with participation from LOI Venture, Zenda Capital, 8-Bit Capital, and Behind Genius Ventures.

Emery plans to use the funding to expand Superpanel's capabilities and accelerate hiring. While competition in the AI-powered legal transformation space is fierce, Emery believes Superpanel's focus on instant, self-serve solutions guided by AI tools will set them apart.
