Trustero Secures $10.35M Series A Funding for AI-Powered Security and Compliance

Trustero, a Silicon Valley company specializing in AI-powered Security and Compliance, has successfully closed a $10.35 million Series A funding round led by Bright Pixel Capital (formerly Sonae IM). Other participants in the funding round included existing investors Engineering Capital, Zetta Ventures Partners, and Vertex Ventures US. The company is focused on demonstrating the ability of AI to drive revenue and operational improvements in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) space.
Trustero has shown significant growth since its establishment in 2020, aiding organizations in reducing compliance costs and time commitments for senior executives. The company's technology, backed by its patented Trust Graph, aims to deliver speed, accuracy, and cost savings in GRC intelligence. Additionally, Trustero's new capital will be pivotal in driving the development of more powerful AI for security and compliance, expanding market reach, and adding top-tier talent from AI engineering and GRC. The company has also made an executive hire, bringing in George Totev as Chief Information Security Officer.
Trustero's AI aims to automate governance, risk, and compliance functions such as compliance audits, security questionnaires, tailored remediation guidance, and third-party risk evaluations.
