Wellinks Secures $10M Series B Funding to Accelerate Growth in Cardiopulmonary Care

Wellinks, a leader in cardiopulmonary care, has announced the first close of its Series B Funding, securing $10 million to fund commercial growth. This investment is a continuation of Wellinks' strategic partnership with UMass Memorial Health and other commercial partners. The funding will be used to accelerate the expansion of Wellinks' predictive care solution, particularly its FDA-cleared Spire Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) System.
\The system helps identify early physiologic changes associated with clinical deterioration, allowing for earlier intervention and proactive management of chronic respiratory disease. Wellinks and UMass Chan Medical School collaborated on the Healthy at Home program, which demonstrated a more than 60% lower odds of 30-day hospital readmission for participants. The investment will be used to further develop and implement Wellinks' solution, aiming to reduce healthcare utilization and the cost of care.
The collaboration with UMass Memorial Health reflects a shared commitment to advancing proactive, data-driven care. Wellinks is redefining respiratory care delivery by combining virtual chronic care disease management with remote patient monitoring technology to predict clinical deterioration up to one week before a patient feels the onset of symptoms. The company aims to reduce acute care utilization, readmission rates, and total cost of care for traditionally underserved populations.
