Amplēo, a company specializing in embedding senior leaders and hands-on operators into growing businesses, has recently acquired Crunchfirm, a boutique finance firm known for its full-stack CFO services for VC-backed startups. The acquisition brings a team of finance professionals with expertise in venture and growth-stage companies, expanding Amplēo Finance's ability to serve the fast-moving startup segment.

Crunchfirm provides strategic financial leadership, financial modeling, cap table management, full-service tax, financial software integration, and day-to-day accounting exclusively to US-based, VC-backed startups. The acquisition aims to provide founders with specialized expertise tailored to the venture and growth-stage world. The integration will bring immediate value to clients on both sides, allowing Amplēo Finance clients to access expanded experience and a stronger bench of finance professionals, while offering Crunchfirm's existing clients access to Amplēo's broader platform, including fractional HR, marketing, sales tax compliance, business valuation, and turnaround and restructuring services.

The Crunchfirm team will remain intact following the acquisition, with no changes to client service delivery or existing relationships. This acquisition marks Amplēo's seventh in less than two years, as the company continues to expand its platform to provide growing businesses with embedded expertise without the overhead of full-time hires.
