Aventia Acquires ECM Consultants, Expanding Environmental and Engineering Capabilities

Aventia, a prominent environmental services firm, has successfully acquired ECM Consultants, a Louisiana-based company specializing in engineering, architectural, and construction management. ECM has a strong track record of delivering over 1,700 projects across the Gulf South, focusing on infrastructure and resilience projects. With expertise in coastal and mitigation engineering, ports, transportation, and civil works, ECM has built a reputation for its work in flood risk reduction, drainage infrastructure, and coastal resilience.

The acquisition marks Aventia's sixth since its establishment in 2022 and is part of the company's strategic efforts to expand its environmental and engineering capabilities nationally. Aventia, which currently operates in over 40 states, looks to leverage ECM's 30 years of expertise and trusted relationships to strengthen its position as a provider of comprehensive environmental and engineering solutions.

The move is expected to create new opportunities for ECM to expand its work while maintaining existing client relationships and quality standards. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
