Coupa Acquires Rossum, Pioneering AI-First Document Processing

Coupa, a leading platform for autonomous spend management, has acquired Rossum, a market leader in intelligent document processing (IDP). The acquisition will extend IDP capabilities across the entire Coupa portfolio, enabling autonomous spend management with agentic AI. Rossum brings AI-first architecture that goes beyond legacy OCR technology, powered by a proprietary domain-specific model trained on tens of millions of documents.
The combined value of Coupa and Rossum has been proven in accounts payable and invoicing, with the potential to help customers save billions through advanced AI technology.
