Denver-based online interior design startup Havenly has announced its acquisition of The Citizenry, an artisan home decor startup. This acquisition furthers the company's strategy of building a collection of home brands that cater to the evolving needs of shoppers. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Citizenry, established in 2014, collaborates with artisans globally to produce limited-edition handcrafted home goods, including furniture, textiles, and decor.

Havenly's most recent funding round was a $32 million Series C announced in October 2019, bringing its total funding raised to $57.8 million. Last year, it acquired customizable furniture and upholstery brand Interior Define, and in 2022, it purchased home furnishing brand The Inside.

Havenly stated that it has no immediate plans to make changes to The Citizenry's store.
