Highlander Partners Sells McIntosh Group to Bose Corporation

Highlander Partners, L.P., a private investment firm based in Dallas, has announced the sale of its portfolio company, McIntosh Group, to Bose Corporation. The acquisition of McIntosh Group took place in June 2022, and the transaction with Bose Corporation was completed on November 15, 2024. McIntosh Group, the parent company of renowned audio brands McIntosh and Sonus faber, is a global leader in high-end audio equipment.

With McIntosh founded in 1949 in Binghamton, New York, and Sonus faber in 1983 in Vicenza, Italy, the brands are known for their dedication to quality performance and refined design. Jeff L. Hull, President and CEO of Highlander Partners, expressed pride in the accomplishments during their ownership and conveyed optimism for McIntosh and Sonus faber's future growth under Bose's ownership.

The legal counsel for the transaction was provided by Katten for Highlander, and Adacta served as legal and tax advisors in Italy.
