Honeywell Completes Acquisition of Sundyne for $2.16 Billion

Honeywell has successfully acquired Sundyne from private equity firm Warburg Pincus for $2.16 billion in cash. The acquisition is set to immediately contribute to Honeywell's sales growth and segment margins, as well as adjusted EPS in the first year. Sundyne's expertise in designing, manufacturing, and supporting pumps and gas compressors for process industries is expected to enhance Honeywell UOP's value chains in various sectors including refining, petrochemicals, liquefied natural gas, and renewable fuels.
The acquisition aligns with Honeywell's strategy to drive organic growth and streamline its portfolio. The completion of this acquisition is part of Honeywell's broader plan, which includes the announcement of the intended spin-offs of its Aerospace Technologies and Solstice Advanced Materials businesses.
This strategic move will result in the establishment of three distinct industry leaders with targeted growth strategies.
