HOPCo Acquires Caro Health, Enhancing Global Digital Health Platform

Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo) has completed the acquisition of Caro Health, a prominent AI-powered digital health company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This strategic move is set to integrate advanced AI-driven patient engagement and operational tools into HOPCo's expanding digital health and care navigation platforms. Caro Health's conversational AI technology has been widely recognized for transforming patient and medical provider interactions. With nearly 40 healthcare customers across the Netherlands and Belgium, Caro Health's AI platform is designed to provide personalized communication at scale, both externally with patients and internally for providers.

Following the acquisition, Caro Health's technology and team will be fully integrated into HOPCo's Digital Health Division, bolstering products such as HOPCo Vitals®, myrecovery by HOPCo®, and HOPCo's EMR Ecosystem. Thomas Goijarts, Co-founder and CEO of Caro Health, expressed excitement about the partnership, noting that it will enable the acceleration of their technology and reach on a global scale. As part of the deal, Goijarts will serve as Head of Products for HOPCo Digital, while Caro co-founder Guusje van der Heijden will lead customer success and delivery for HOPCo in Europe.
