Juniper Square Acquires AI-Enabled Platform Tenor Digital for Private Credit Market Expansion

Juniper Square, a fund operations partner to over 2,000 private markets GPs, has completed the acquisition of Tenor Digital, an AI-enabled platform designed for private credit lenders and loan administrators. This move is aimed at enhancing Juniper Square's capabilities in catering to the rapidly growing private credit market, which is anticipated to achieve $3 trillion in AUM by 2028. The integration of Tenor's solutions with Juniper Square's connected software and fund administration services is expected to optimize post-close loan operations.

Christine Egbert, General Manager of Fund Administration at Juniper Square, emphasized that the acquisition aligns with their goal of providing a unified platform to meet the specific needs of GPs across various asset classes. Meanwhile, Tenor Digital's Co-Founder and CEO, Tony Chung, expressed excitement about joining Juniper Square and the opportunity to collaborate in developing next-generation innovations for the private credit platform.

The acquisition follows the recent launch of JunieAI, an AI platform tailored for the private markets, positioning Tenor's AI-driven loan servicing tools to complement Juniper Square's offerings. The Tenor team will be integrated into Juniper Square's workforce, further strengthening the company's position as a leading operations partner for GPs dealing with private credit strategies.
