Modern Wealth Management Acquires Petso Financial Consultants in Latest Expansion

Modern Wealth Management has announced the acquisition of Petso Financial Consultants, LLC, a fee-only financial advisory firm based in Boise, Idaho. This marks Modern Wealth’s eleventh acquisition and its sixth of the year, increasing its total assets under management to over $6 billion.

Petso Financial, founded in 2001, offers holistic wealth management and financial planning services with a focus on client-centered service and personalized financial guidance. David Petso, CFP®, joins Modern Wealth as managing director and expresses excitement about the potential for future growth. The entire 10-person team at Petso Financial is set to leverage Modern Wealth’s resources to expand its client base, particularly in the Pacific Northwest.

With this acquisition, Modern Wealth now operates 14 client-facing offices across 11 states and plans to pursue further acquisitions by year-end. The transaction was facilitated by the Alaris Acquisitions Deal Advocacy process. Modern Wealth Management aims to establish regional offices in key locations across the United States.
