Rumin8 Acquires ROAM Agricultural to Advance Methane Abatement Solutions

Rumin8, an agriculture-focused climate tech company, has successfully completed the acquisition of ROAM Agricultural from Loam Bio Pty Ltd, marking a significant advancement in their pursuit of methane abatement solutions in cattle. The acquisition aligns with Rumin8's strategic development plans for its own methane and productivity solution.

CEO David Messina highlighted the complementary nature of the acquisition, emphasizing the expansion of Rumin8's portfolio through the addition of ROAM's developed delivery formats. This strategic move enables Rumin8 to accelerate the regulatory studies and commercialization of ROAM's products, contributing to the global effort to reduce methane emissions from livestock. The technology acquired from ROAM includes alternative processes for manufacturing and delivering tribromomethane (TBM), a recognized effective methane-reducing active in livestock.

Rumin8's capacity to deliver multiple product formats, such as granules for feed, a drinking water additive, and sustained release solid formats, is expected to bolster farmer and rancher monetization of carbon reduction. By leveraging their technical expertise and key manufacturing partners, Rumin8 aims to expedite the commercialization of ROAM's development portfolio. T
