SAP to Acquire Reltio, Paving the Way for AI-Ready Enterprise Data

SAP SE and Reltio Inc. have reached an agreement for SAP to acquire Reltio, a top master data management (MDM) software provider. The move aims to prepare enterprise data, whether SAP or non-SAP, for AI applications. The acquisition is set to bolster SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC) and expedite its transformation into an interoperable enterprise data platform for comprehensive agentic AI.

Integrating Reltio will equip customers with the means to consolidate, purify, and standardize data from various sources for superior agentic AI across the enterprise. The deal's financial details remain undisclosed, and the transaction is anticipated to finalize in Q2 or Q3 of 2026, pending customary closing conditions and regulatory nods. Post-acquisition, Reltio's offerings are poised to enhance SAP's customers' capacity to manage and present master data as reliable, context-rich data products from multiple origins, serving both traditional analytics workloads and AI agents.

Reltio will persist as a fundamental capability within SAP BDC, with a flexible commercial model, enabling customers to procure Reltio as a standalone solution or in conjunction with other SAP products.
