Signaturit Group to Acquire Validated ID in Strategic Move to Strengthen Digital Trust Solutions

Signaturit Group, a leading European provider of secure digital transaction solutions, has revealed its intentions to acquire Validated ID, a renowned provider of innovative digital identity and electronic signature solutions.

Founded in 2012, Validated ID is a trusted leader in digital identity and biometric signature solutions, offering innovative technologies for secure, user-friendly transactions. Their flagship product, VIDwallet, is the first EBSI-compliant mobile identity wallet, providing secure credential management. Validated ID's expertise in eIDAS 2.0 compliance makes it a key partner for businesses undergoing digital transformation, serving over 4,000 clients across 35+ countries. 

The acquisition of Validated ID is set to significantly bolster Signaturit's position in the European digital trust market, bringing expanded product offerings, enhanced compliance leadership, increased market reach, and a stronger partner ecosystem.

Post-transaction, Signaturit is expected to reach approximately €70 million of annual recurring revenue, with the goal of achieving €100 million. The completion of the transaction is pending regulatory approvals. Signaturit Group is financially and operationally backed by PSG Equity, while Validated ID has been influential in shaping the future of digital identity and trust in Europe.
