MITS Capital Completes First Cycle of Accelerator Program in Partnership with American University Kyiv

MITS Capital, in collaboration with American University Kyiv, has successfully concluded the initial phase of its MITS Accelerator Program. Each participating startup was awarded $200,000, comprising $100,000 in direct investment and $100,000 in specialized expertise and services. Following this achievement, MITS has initiated the recruitment process for Batch 2 of the accelerator program, aiming to further enhance Ukraine's defense technology landscape. Ukrainian defense startups can submit applications  until October 6, 2024. 

The program consists of two three-month stages: business acceleration, focusing on business education and defense production specifics, and post-acceleration support, geared towards readying companies for international expansion and attracting foreign investment. MITS is seeking teams with a functional MVP (Minimum Viable Product, TRL 4-6 Levels) or those in close proximity to a viable product. The upcoming phase will target startup categories aligned with defense technology.

MITS is an international defense fund and accelerator committed to mobilizing substantial capital for the Ukrainian defense industry, with the objective of expediting the production of essential defense products for the armed forces.
