PlayersTV, the first-ever athlete and fan-owned network, has announced the acquisition of Cloud Media Center, a sports adtech and media distribution company. This move broadens PlayersTV's reach to 500 million monthly ad impressions, reinforcing its position in athlete-driven lifestyle entertainment and enhancing its engagement with advertisers and inventory networks.
With over 70 athlete investors and 2,200 fan owners, the network features high-profile athletes such as Chris Paul, Travis Kelce, Dwayne Wade, Chiney Ogwumike, Damian Lillard, Natasha Cloud, Alysha Clark, Carmelo Anthony, and others. PlayersTV, present on platforms like DirecTV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Philo, reaches over 300 million households, while its ad network, Players360, generates an additional 500 million monthly ad impressions.
Following the acquisition, PlayersTV now controls technologies responsible for over 1 billion monthly ad impressions. This strategic move is deemed transformative by the company's co-founders, Deron Guidrey and Collin Castellaw, as it signifies a significant leap in innovation and expansion of their global footprint.
