Ares Management Corporation Launches Automated Industrial Robotics Inc.

Ares Management Corporation has announced the launch of  Automated Industrial Robotics Inc. (AIR), a newly formed industrial automation company created to take advantage of the growing demand for manufacturing automation solutions on a global scale. AIR has received a significant investment from an Ares Private Equity fund to support its acquisition and growth strategy.

The company's primary focus is on acquiring and fostering the growth of various industrial automation firms that cater to different end markets and possess strong operational histories and experienced management teams. 

The launch of AIR also involved the acquisition of two foundational companies, Totally Automated Systems (TA Systems) and Modular Automation. TA Systems, based in Detroit, Michigan, has over 45 years of experience in designing and manufacturing fully integrated and stand-alone assembly machines for automotive, home appliances, and other industries. Modular, located in Shannon, Ireland, has been a leading automation solutions provider in the medical technology industry for nearly 40 years.
