Bank of America Invests in Angeles Ventures to Accelerate Growth for Hispanic and Latino Startups in the U.S.

Angeles Ventures, a Latino and woman-led early-stage VC fund, announced it has secured an equity investment from Bank of America to further its mission of finding, funding, and growing Hispanic and Latino ventures in the United States.
With Latinos representing over 20% of the U.S. population and being the most entrepreneurial group in the country, Angeles Ventures seeks to address the disparity in venture capital funding, specifically focusing on tech-enabled B2B and B2C startups. Angeles Ventures Fund I has already invested in four startups and has garnered support from various prominent investors.
The fund is spearheaded by two experienced leaders, Adela Cepeda and David Olivencia, who have a strong track record in angel investing and aim to drive significant returns while catalyzing funding for Hispanic and Latino founders.
Bank of America's investment reflects its commitment to supporting women- and minority-led funds, aligning with its broader initiative to invest in diverse entrepreneurs and foster economic opportunities within communities. Read the full press release here.
