BTG Pactual Asset Management Completes Fundraising for BTG Pactual Strategic Capital Investment Strategy

BTG Pactual Asset Management, a global investment platform with US$ 177 billion in AUM/AUA (as of Q4, 2023), has successfully concluded the fundraising for its BTG Pactual Strategic Capital investment strategy. The strategy secured more than US$ 1 billion in total capital commitments, including US$ 395 million to a Fund LP and over US$ 600 million in co-investments.

Strat Cap, operating within BTG Pactual’s International Private Markets group, is an opportunistic investment strategy focused on asset-oriented businesses, employing a partnership approach to investing in sponsor backed and non-sponsor businesses. With a flexible mandate, it can invest across the capital structure, targeting investments of US$ 50 million to US$ 150 million, and potentially scaling up to US$ 400 million or more.

The strategy's target sectors encompass infrastructure adjacent, essential services, and other defensive industries.  Strat Cap is led by a seasoned investment team with experience in private equity, credit, and structured solutions. It is a part of the BTG Pactual International Private Markets group, which has US$ 6.9 billion in assets and commitments (as of Q1, 2024).
