Global Alternative Investment Management LLC, also known as Global Alts, has successfully concluded its latest venture capital fund, Global Alts SPV LLC-Groq AI, with the primary aim of investing in Groq, a leading AI technology company.

This investment was made through a private investment vehicle as part of Groq's recent $640M Series D round, valuing the company at $2.8B. The round was spearheaded by BlackRock Private Equity Partners and saw participation from investors such as Neuberger Berman, Type One Ventures, Cisco Investments, Global Brain's KDDI Open Innovation Fund III, and Samsung Catalyst Fund.
