Halogen Ventures Closes $30M Fund for Future of Family Solutions

Halogen Ventures, a venture capital firm led by Jesse Draper, has closed its third fund at $30 million. The fund aims to focus on the $7.5 trillion Future of Family market, prioritizing investments in childcare and female-founded companies addressing global problems. Jesse Draper emphasizes the urgent need for change in childcare, highlighting the significant business opportunity and social responsibility.
The fund will target unmet needs of the modern family across five core verticals: Childcare, Education/EdTech, FamTech, Child & Youth Services, and Digital Workplace. Notable limited partners include the State of Alabama, Candace Nelson, and Mike Evans. Since its establishment in 2015, Halogen Ventures has actively sought to invest in startups with women founders, with a successful portfolio including Everlywell, Babylist, Flex, HopSkipDrive, and Metropolis.
