Innovation Endeavors Announces $630 Million Fund V, Largest Fund To Date

Innovation Endeavors, a venture capital firm founded by Eric Schmidt, Dror Berman, Scott Brady, and Rick Scalon, has announced its fifth fund with a record-breaking $630 million in capital commitments. The company stated,
We’re committed to partnering with founders from inception through growth. Given the current economic climate, where growth funding is becoming more scarce, we understand the increased importance of having ample funding to support our companies as they navigate the expanding ‘valley of death.’ This is precisely why we raised our largest fund to date — to provide the support our companies need to successfully navigate challenging times, to build in spite of them, and to embrace and conquer the obstacles ahead.
The firm aims to invest in 30 to 35 companies at the intersection of science and technology, focusing on areas like climate, intelligent software, engineering, health, and the supply chain.
The firm has previously invested in 115 companies, including successful exits like SoFi, Uber, Astra, Slice, and Zymergen. The firm's recent lead investments include Machina Labs and BioLoomics.
