Orion Infrastructure Capital Successfully Completes $370M Fundraising for Inaugural Infrastructure Growth Fund

Orion Infrastructure Capital, a US middle-market infrastructure manager, has closed the fundraising for its inaugural Infrastructure Growth Fund, surpassing the target size of $350 million by raising over $370 million. The demand from existing OIC investors constituted over 80% of the capital raised, with new investors from Europe and North America also participating.
The Fund has already allocated over 60% of commitments across a diversified initial portfolio of six investments, including companies focusing on submarine cable recovery, tidal power, battery efficiency, SmartGlass technology, electric vehicle solutions, and clean mobility platforms.
OIC aims to address the dislocation of debt and equity capital solutions in growth stage infrastructure sectors across North America. With approximately $4.5 billion in assets under management, OIC's investment sectors include energy efficiency, transportation, digital infrastructure, and more. The company was founded in 2015 and has a team of over 45 professionals based in New York, Houston, and London. Read the full press release here.
