Prudence Closes $80 Million Third Fund to Invest in Built World Technology Companies

Prudence, a venture firm focused on technology companies shaping the global transformation of the built world, has announced the successful conclusion of its third fund, securing $80 million in capital commitments.
Since its establishment in 2009, Prudence has been actively backing early-stage technology companies, particularly those involved in construction, real estate, infrastructure, and climate/energy adaptation. Prudence boasts $230 million in assets under management and has previously invested in prominent companies such as Compass, CREXi, and CASAFARI.
The latest fund surpasses their previous $65 million fund raised in 2020, aligning with the firm's strategy of making focused investments in early-stage companies with advanced technological capabilities, substantial market potential, and exceptional founding teams. The firm primarily focuses on Seed to Series B stage investments, aiming to lead or co-lead investment rounds, with plans to support 10-15 companies per fund through active roles as both investors and board members.
