San Diego Angel Conference Awards Startups with Angel Funding and People’s Choice Honor

The San Diego Angel Conference (SDAC) at the University of San Diego has announced the winners of its sixth-year program, awarding two startups with angel funding and honoring a third with the People's Choice award.

Ecodrive secured the top prize with a funding of $300,000, while Achieve Clinics was named the runner-up and received $100,000 in funding. The People's Choice honor went to Kids Care Finder.

The conference, which marked the culmination of eight months of engaging accredited angel investors and supporting early-stage companies, was presented live to an audience of angel investors, entrepreneurs, and innovation ecosystem leaders at the University of San Diego. Ecodrive's Co-Founder and CEO expressed gratitude for the investment, emphasizing the invaluable experience gained through the program.

SDAC VI received 102 applications from early-stage companies and garnered investments from accredited angel investors nationwide to form a collective fund. Partnerships with over 35 organizations, including universities and sponsors, have contributed to driving deal flow and mentoring startups.  Read the full press release here.
