Zero Prime Ventures Announces Second Fund and New Partner, Emphasizing Generative AI Tooling

Zero Prime Ventures, formerly known as Data Community Fund, has revealed its second fund and the addition of new Partner Yang Tran. The firm, led by Pete Soderling, will prioritize generative AI tooling in Fund II, along with a focus on data infrastructure and machine learning.
The new $48 million fund will continue to focus on early-stage data-oriented companies launched by technical founders, and has garnered support from prominent VCs such as Olivier Pomel, Jordan Tigani, and David Aronchick.
Zero Prime's upcoming Data Council event in Austin 2024 will feature an AI Launchpad for pre-incorporation and pre-seed stage startups focused on AI-related B2B applications. This aligns with Zero Prime's commitment to investing from day zero, as it aims to support engineer-founders and contribute to the evolution of data infrastructure, AI & ML platforms, devtools, blockchain, and cloud tech.
